The city of Kragujevac has a favorable geo-strategic position and is the administrative, economic, cultural-educational and health center of central Serbia. It is located in the central part of the Republic of Serbia, in the district of Sumadija.
It covers an area of 835 km² and is 140 km southeast of the capital of the Republic of Serbia-Belgrade. Kragujevac is connected to Corridor X by the State Route IB of Line 24, Batocina - Kragujevac, which should become a highway in the coming period.
The founder of both Free Zone "Šumadija" in Kragujevac and the LTD company "Free Zone of Sumadija" is the city of Kragujevac.
The free zone covers an area of 16 hectares.
